Sweet dreams... by P-JoArt Sweet dreams... by P-JoArt
... are made of this.

Taken from my compilation of sketches ([link]). Some people suggested me to pick one and make a pic, and this one seemed to be the favourite one, so I did this. I'm not sure if it is ok: I wanted to do an 'animeish' colouring, but it turned out completely different. Oh, well...
I also made a wallpaper, not because I think my pics deserve wallpapers (^^; no, no, absolutely not), just because I liked more the composition. [link]

There is a really simple answer to your question: I like it so I draw it. :P
Actually, you probably know that the two characters share a quite intimate and profound bonding, which has been seen from many fans (since 19th century, some say) as some kind of romantic relationship going on between them. Of course, this is not an official interpretation, but if you read carefully the books, there are several hints that might lead to this. If you are interested, try to read this ship-manifesto.livejournal.com… or any other Sherlock/Waton essay, there are many on the web. Moreover, the recent movies just made this subplot a lot more obvious.

esta bien, cada quien tiene su estilo, pero para saber la verdad exacta habrķa que preguntarle a Conan Doyle...

That's not the point. Actually, I don't even really care about what Conan Doyle thinks about it (though I'd be curious to hear his opinion). This is not about the "truth", this is about the fan's imagination. The characters themselves are fictional characters, there is nothing "true" here, it's just "entertainment". And yes, I would have drawn this even if Sir Arthur Conan Doyle himself had said that he was against this interpretation. ;)

I understand and respect your opinion are fictional characters, but specifically what I mean, no offense, without referring to you, is the depravity or fantasy with these two characters, that's what bothers me.

Uhm, I was just curious, why are you putting that "font" tag in each post? It's not working... ^^; Just wanted to let you know. ;)

Sorry, I'm not sure I understand what you wrote. However, no offense, but if this bothers you, why are you even looking at it? Maybe subconsciously you like it, at least a little bit, who knows? :P
Forgive me, I was just joking. ;) We probably just have different tastes. :)
